
Q: Will NetVue run with the new Windows® Vista operating system?
A: Yes, NetVue has been tested with the Windows Vista RTM version. There are several considerations when running NetVue with Vista.
° The Windows User Account Control (UAC) system in Vista will prompt you each time that you start up NetVue, it is OK to approve this and run NetVue.
° The Windows Defender system prevents NetVue from running when Vista starts up, you will need to start up NetVue from the start menu with this version.
We will have these Windows changes managed in the next update of NetVue, we apologize for the inconvenience!
Q: How do I check my Microsoft .NET version?
A: You can find the version in your Add Or Remove programs control panel
instructions are provided below.
1) Click on the start button in your task bar

2) Click on the Control Panel choice in the start menu
3) Click on the 'Add or Remove Programs' option (this won't actually remove anything) and
a small control panel window will pop up showing most of the programs that are installed on your computer.
Scroll down the list until you find the Microsoft .NET program listing such as below. This will tell you which
version (if any) is installed on your computer.

Q: Where can I find a user manual for your products?
A: You can get user information in several different ways we have the user
manuals posted here in our downloads area as well you can find documentation built into the
software under the help option.

Q: NetVue is telling me that Beta has expired what do I do?
A: We offer our products to the general public for a short time before we announce a full release, this inital version is what we call a BETA release. This "pre-version" allows us time to get great feedback from any one who would like to try out our software early. Once the product version moves from BETA to general release we expire the beta versions and require that you upgrade to the new version. This will ensure that you have the best possible and most feature rich software from us and all you need to do is to download the latest version from our download area and install the new version!
